NSW: Frequent flyer grounded by police
New South Wales police have grounded a man who allegedly claimed almost $15,000 inairfares by manipulating a frequent flyer scheme.
The 29-year-old man from Oatley, in Sydney's south, was arrested yesterday by CommercialCrime Agency investigators.
Police allege the man redeemed flights on both domestic and international routes todestinations including Brisbane and Auckland.
A police spokesman says the man's been charged with eight counts of obtaining benefitby deception, has been granted conditional bail and will face Waverley Local Court onSeptember 10.
